Vane pumps for circulation lubrication systems
Vane pumps such as FLM or FLMF are primarily used for circulating lubrication systems to pump the oil back into the reservoir if the natural gradient of the return line is too small.
In contrast to gear pumps, they also pump oil+air mixtures. They also have a better suction capacity than gear pumps. This makes them suitable, for example, for SKF MonoFlex single-line centralized lubrication systems and SKF CircOil oil circulation lubrication systems.
The suction line length of vane pumps is limited to max. 3 meters. The counter pressure when used as lubrication must not exceed 0.6 MPa. Vane pumps work valve-less or with valves for the same direction of delivery with a changing direction of rotation.
