RecondOil Box 2100 ATEX
The RecondOil 2100 ATEX extends the concept of oil circulation and reuse to these specialized application areas. Thanks to its simple and robust design, it enables continuous oil cleaning in environments where certified equipment is required due to potentially explosive gas or dust atmospheres.
Certified for Zones 1/21 and 2/22, the 2100 ATEX combines the RecondOil continuous oil cleaning process with proven explosion protection, ensuring safe operation without the need to alter existing oil management practices.
OCU-R expands SKF’s oil maintenance portfolio for oil reservoirs and housings
SKF is introducing the redesigned Oil Conditioning Unit OCU-R – a robust and flexible solution that supports customers in retrofitting existing systems and is used where standard units are insufficient.
The OCU-R solution was developed to support key customer objectives:
- Improved lubricant film for extended machine service life
- Higher oil cleanliness and longer oil service life
- Easy integration of RecondOil depth filtration into existing systems
- Low-noise operation and gentle oil supply thanks to a motor with a variable frequency drive
- Flexibility through optional cooling, heating, and advanced sensor technology
- Available as an optional mobile unit on a trolley or in a control cabinet
Product updates
Connected lubrication enters its second generation
The SKF SYSTEM 24 portfolio includes the TLDD series for the wireless monitoring of automatic single-point lubricators. Users can track status and adjust settings via a web dashboard.
The second generation (TLDD 2/EU-DS) will replace the first once existing stock is depleted, offering:
- Improved electronics for more stable connectivity
- Extended configuration period of up to 24 months (previously 12 months)
- Manual reset function (no automatic reset of lubricant quantity or remaining service life)
All other functions and technical specifications remain unchanged. As before, the drive units are compatible with all TLDD gateways operating within the same regional frequency range.
Lubricator portfolio
Automatic lubricators can be divided into two main categories: single-point and multi-point systems.
Single-point lubricators supply a single lubrication point and are available as gas-driven or electromechanical units—offered with cartridges, in refillable versions, or with remote monitoring capabilities.
Multi-point lubricators can supply up to 18 lubrication points simultaneously. SKF automatic lubricators are used across various industries where reliable lubrication is critical:
- Food and beverage industry: Filling lines and packaging machines
- Mining and cement industry: Ball mills and conveyor systems
- Transportation: Elevators and escalators in remote or hard-to-reach locations
- Pulp and paper industry: Pumps and fans exposed to high humidity and temperature fluctuations
Product discontinuation
Discontinuation of the P203 with H-PCB for trailer applications
The H-PCB previously used in the P203 pump has been discontinued by the supplier. Furthermore, unforeseen issues regarding current draw that have arisen since the beginning of the year mean that the P203-H variant is no longer available.
Alternatives:
Depending on the available power supply, the following alternatives may be considered for trailer applications:
- If a constant power supply via the ignition is available, a V-PCB can be used.
- If a constant power supply (e.g., via a battery) is available, a PCB with cycle control based on the brake light signal should be used to prevent over-lubrication.
