Hydrocyclones for liquid mixtures

Hydrocyclones from Spandau, also called centrifugal separators, are suitable for pumping water and emulsions in filter-free cleaning systems for grinding machines. They are also able to transport oils with viscosities up to <20 mm²/s.

This range made of low-wear, corrosion-resistant synthetic material can be used for several operating modes tailored to your needs. The series-connection of multiple hydrocyclones increases the degree of purity of the pumped medium, while the parallel connection of several hydrocyclones (cyclone battery) drastically increases the pure water output. This results in a constant and high-quality cleaning effect.

Hydrocyclones HDZ-1

Spandau hydrocyclones of the HDZ-1 series are characterized by the high degree of purity they can achieve. They work in temperature ranges from 5°C to 60°C with a continuous pressure between 1.5 and 2.5 bar. With kinematic viscosities of 1 to 20 mm²/s, the HDZ-1 products have a flow rate of 70 l/min.

Hydrocyclones HDZ-2

The HDZ-2 hydrocyclones achieve a lower degree of purity, but work with an increased flow rate of 90 l/min. Their other properties such as continuous pressure, material, kinematic viscosity and temperature range are identical to the products of the Spandau hydrocyclone series HDZ-1.
