SKF Flow Limiter SMB M

Flow limiters of the SMBM series for base plate mounting, for oil circulation lubrication systems. Flow limiters supply the lubrication points connected to the oil circulation lubrication system with fixed individual flow rates. The fixed individual flow rates are independent of system pressure fluctuations and largely independent of viscosity. This makes them the ideal solution for applications with fluctuating oil temperatures (steelworks, mining, etc.). Their self-adjusting operating principle makes complex pressure control unnecessary. Flow limiters of the SMB M series are designed for base plate mounting in modules of 1 to 6 flow limiters.

The interchangeable plug-in nozzles allow flow rates to be set in steps from 0.08 to 8 l/min (0.17 to 16.9 pts/min). Signal transmitters, piston detectors or gear flow controls on the flow limiters monitor the oil flow at each individual device. They are connected to a monitoring device.

The SMB M series replaces the flow limiters of the SMB 8, SMB 9 and SMB 10 series.
